Shoreditch Design Week
15–20 September | Hendel & Hendel Experience Studio, London
Join us throughout Shoreditch Design Week as we explore what changes when design starts with hardware.
Through hands-on sessions, panels, and collection previews, we’ll share the thinking behind our Hardware First philosophy and the role of tactility in creating spaces that feel personal and enduring.
Our Experience Studio is the setting for all events and will be open throughout the week for you to visit. A place to explore materials in person, compare finishes, discover new collections and have conversations around the details that make a scheme feel considered.

Thursday 17 September | 09:00–11:00
Following the first instalment of our Hardware First Panel, we’re returning to the question of what changes when hardware is considered from the beginning.
For the second edition, Georgina Blaskey, Senior Homes & Interiors Editor at SheerLuxe, will host a conversation with Reena Simon, Founder of The Intentional Home®; and Carole Annett, Interiors Editor at Country & Town House, exploring hardware as a starting point for design.
Together, they’ll explore the relationship between hardware, materiality, colour, tactility, and the moments of interaction that make a space feel personal.
Expect fresh perspectives and practical insight into designing from the detail outward.

Moodboarding with Kate Humphreys, Little Greene
Tuesday 15 September | 10:00–12:00
Join Kate Humphreys from Little Greene Paint for an intimate, hands-on moodboarding session in our Materials Lab at the Hendel & Hendel Experience Studio.
Whether you’re developing a scheme for a client or working on a project of your own, come with a space in mind and explore a different way to approach the design process – starting with the details.
Working one-to-one with Kate, you’ll experiment with our latest hardware collections, finishes, colour, texture and material from other partner brands, to build a considered palette for your project.
You’re also welcome to bring your own samples, swatches or materials to incorporate into your moodboard.
You’ll also get a first look at Little Greene’s new colours, with the opportunity to explore how they can work practically within a wider scheme.

Lunch & Learn

Join us for lunch and a guided studio session exploring how hardware can shape the wider design story.
We’ll take you behind the scenes of Hendel & Hendel, starting with our brand story, the process of initial design and product development, through to how our products are made. You'll also get a first look at our latest collections.
Whether you're specifying for residential projects or commercial interiors, this session offers practical insight into selecting hardware with intention.

This October, we’re taking our latest designs to WestEdge Design Fair.
Alongside a selection of established Hendel & Hendel favourites, we'll be showcasing new launches making their international debut, giving visitors an exclusive first look at the next chapter of our collections.
The Season Ahead
Alongside five new collections, we’ll introduce new finishes, build on existing designs, and explore new forms, each developed with a focus on elevating everyday details beyond the ordinary.
