Meet Bella
In this edition of Behind the Brand, we sit down with our Client Partner, Bella Peter.
Bella joined Hendel & Hendel in September 2025, ahead of the opening of our London Experience Studio. Since then, she has become a familiar face within the space, working closely with designers, architects and clients to ensure every project receives the care and attention it deserves.
Originally from Australia, Bella has also called Madrid and Amsterdam home before moving to London. Her experiences living across different cities continue to shape her appreciation for interiors, architecture and thoughtful design.
We caught up with Bella to learn more about her role, where she finds inspiration and why Scroll is her favourite collection.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm originally from Australia, and I've been very lucky to live in four countries. My journey has taken me from Australia to Madrid, Amsterdam and now London, with each place shaping the way I see design and interiors.
What is your role at Hendel & Hendel?
My role is to connect and support design studios, building strong relationships and making sure every project has the care and attention it needs. I also collaborate closely with designers in our London Experience Studio, from specifying Hendel & Hendel hardware to figuring out other ways we can help.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
The people. I love building relationships with designers and seeing projects evolve from an initial idea into a finished space. Being part of that journey and supporting clients along the way is incredibly rewarding.
Where do you find inspiration for interiors?
Travel is one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I love seeing how different cities tell their own unique story through architecture, interiors and design. Every place has its own character, and there's always something new to discover.
Which Hendel & Hendel collection is your favourite?
Without a doubt, Scroll.
I love it because it has such a beautiful organic shape. The collection is inspired by the unraveling motion of fabric and parchment, and I think there's something really special about a design that reflects the rhythms and movements of everyday life.
What is your favourite finish?
Burnished Brass.
I love that it's a living finish. Over time it develops its own character and patina, which adds a sense of individuality to every piece. I think that's what makes it so beautiful.
Now that the Scroll Collection is here, we're delighted to share both Bella's favourite collection and the story behind one of the people who helps make Hendel & Hendel what it is.
