In this edition of Behind The Brand, we sit down with our Brand & Content Strategist, Jade Jordan-James, to explore her role, creative inspirations, and thoughts on some of our most timeless designs.
Q: Tell us a bit about your role
A: I shape the brand and content strategy, ensuring it aligns with our vision, business goals, and market trends. I oversee the content plan and calendar while crafting stories that help our audience connect emotionally with our products. I also look after our influencer and partnership program, collaborating with advocates who share our passion for beautiful interiors.
Q: When you think of the Westgate, York, Farnham pieces, what’s the first word that comes to mind?
A: Modern Heritage. These pieces may come from different collections, but they work beautifully together. I love the burnished brass finish as they feel like heirlooms, designed to patina over time.
Q: What’s something surprising about you outside of work?
A: I’m trained in floristry! I love incorporating flowers into everything I do, and when I get the chance, I like to create large-scale floral installations.
Q: Where do you go for interior inspiration?
A: Boutique stores and hotels. Commercial spaces often have the most dramatic design details, and I love translating those ideas into residential interiors.
